Cycle hire is now available at Fowlmead!

We are now able to offer a selection of gents’, ladies’ and children’s mountainbikes for hire.

Cycle hire prices are as follows:

Adults Bikes  £2.50 per hour Children’s Bikes £2.50 per hour Trailer bike (“Tagalong”) £2.00 per hour

Hire of a cycle will automatically include a helmet. You are advised to wear a cycle helmet at all times and you will be asked to sign to acknowledge that you have been offered cycle helmets to wear.

We also have two child seats which will be available at no extra charge. These are only available on two of our hire cycles on a first-come first-served basis, and are not available separately for hire for use on customers’ own bikes.

Our bike hire will be open every day from 9:00am to 3:30pm (ie. last hire period will be from 2:30pm 'til 3:30pm). All cycles to be returned by 3:30pm.

Payment method is cash (as yet we are not able to offer card payment), and we will require a deposit.  Acceptable deposits for cycle hire will be the hirer’s car keys or £50 cash.    

Terms and conditions (not exhaustive):

Hirers exceeding the agreed and paid for hire session will incur a further charge of £1.50 per extra half-hour. Loss or damage to the equipment will result in the loss of all/part of the deposit.  Frame and fork loss or damage or loss of cycle will be paid for at cost.

Intercrop Limited Cycle Hire advises hirers that cycling can be hazardous and may result in injury or death.  Hirers should ensure that they cycle within their capabilities at all times and that suitable eye, body and head protection is worn.  The hirer accepts that Intercrop Limited Cycle Hire cannot be held liable for any losses or damage or injury howsoever caused and that the suitability of tracks for cycling cannot be guaranteed.
